Overview

Securing images are processed by the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) whom capable of recording four-channels simultaneously and displaying moving images in quad screen format. The Comport UVSS DVR delivers the full picture of a vehicle's entire width for a fraction of the cost of less capable systems.

Performance Features

Each Comport UVSS ramp contains either three or four high-resolution (510px x 410px) waterproof, color video cameras. Each camera incorporates a scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal lens in a stainless steel housing. Cameras can be individually angled. Fixed focus lens operates between 0.5in and 50ft for maximum depth of field. Advanced DVR is invented as a stand-alone system that can simultaneously output up to 50fps per channel.

UVSS Models are also available with software for easy integration in a vehicle-plate number-based environment known as Automatic Plate Recognition System (APRS) which is optional.

Design Features

Built from heavy-duty galvanized steel which can withstand up to 48t either stationary or mobile vehicles. Steel-ramp can be added easily for wider roads or multiple lanes. Ramps are able permanently mounted with a permanent control cabling system or a portable control system for portable applications.

In cabling a single, 20m (65ft) waterproof and weather-rated control cable is included; distance between the ramp and control unit should not exceed 300m (984ft). Connectors are sealed, weather resistant MIL-C-5015 type. Optional fiber-optic transmission systems for long distances are available.

An advanced codec algorithm delivers high-resolution, 729 x 486 images to NTSC or PAL monitors. Images can be stored on a local or network hard drive. Events can be stamped by time and date.
