Overview
Designed to complement the latest flat-panel and plasma televisions perfectly,
the Infinity 3-way Satellite Speaker can be placed virtually anywhere. Each satellite
includes three different height shelf stands, so matching the speaker to the television's
height is easy. The infinity speaker features MMD™ drivers for maximum sound response.
Performance Features
Four woofers at the top and bottom surround a pair of midrange drivers and an
MMD-dome tweeter in the center. These drivers use Infinity's proprietary MMD cones
throughout and are arrayed in a three-way design to maximize both frequency response
and power handling. The MMD cone conducts sound faster than paper, polypropylene
and Kevlar®, pushing unwanted resonance beyond the operating range of the transducer.
In addition, this speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement adjacent to
a television.
Design Features
Place the satellite speaker on a shelf or mount it on a wall using the included
bracket, which allows you to aim the sound at your listening area. An optional floor
stand and in-wall recess kit are also available. The solid, extruded-aluminum enclosure
is highly rigid to reduce unwanted resonance even at high listening levels. The
Infinity speaker is Dolby Digital or DTS receiver compatible.
