Performance Features

The ApplianceLinc V2 is easy to install and set up and yet so affordable, you'll want to add ApplianceLinc V2 on/off modules to all of your appliances that you want to control remotely. Just unplug the appliance and plug it into the bottom outlet of the INSTEON ApplianceLinc V2 On/Off Module, and then plug the module back into the wall outlet. Link the ApplianceLinc V2 to an INSTEON controller using the Plug & Tap programming method, and you'll be able to turn the appliance on and off from any linked INSTEON-enabled controller. Pass-Through Outlet

In addition to the INSTEON-controlled outlet, the ApplianceLinc offers a non-controlled outlet on the front face, so you won't have to unplug your appliance module just to find a place to plug in the vacuum cleaner.

Create Multi-Way Circuits

The ApplianceLinc V2 On/Off Module allows you to customize your lighting setup no matter how your house is wired. It's simple to create a 3-, 4-, or 5-way controlled appliances. Plug the device you want to include in the circuit into the module, then plug the ApplianceLinc V2 into an open outlet. Link the ApplianceLinc V2 to all the INSTEON-enabled wall switches and Tabletop Controllers that you want to control the ApplianceLinc V2 On/Off Module for a flexible, fully functional multi-way controlled appliance.

Scene

Lighting Scenes allow you to control multiple lights, rooms or even the whole home with a single command. Because the ApplianceLinc V2 can be a member of more than 400 scenes (i.e. "Movie Time," "Party," "Romance," etc.), you'll be able to launch various lighting scenarios with a single button press on an INSTEON controller. These are elegant features usually found only in systems costing tens of thousands of dollars and requiring extensive rewiring of your home. All member lights and appliances can turn on or off instantly, all controlled with one command from one button. Status LED

Get a visual indication when ApplianceLinc V2 is sending or receiving INSTEON or X10 signals. The Status LED is also used for setup programming.

Compatibility

The ApplianceLinc V2 On/Off Module is fully INSTEON compatible and X10 ready. Homeowners with existing X10 networks can easily migrate to an INSTEON network without having to discard all their existing X10 devices. X10 ready means that the module can respond to X10 commands from an X10 controller. Please note that INSTEON devices repeat INSTEON signals but not X10.

Static Memory

All ApplianceLinc V2 settings are stored in static memory and are not lost during power failures. Additionally, in the event of a power loss, the ApplianceLinc V2 On/Off Module will return the appliance to its last on/off state when power is restored.
