Overview
You enter the room - the light is switched on. You leave the room - it switches
off automatically. The automatic switch is simply used instead of the previous switch.
This is comfortable, safe and energy-saving. Particularly in passages such as foyers
and staircases. Also suitable for guest toilets. A water- and theft-resistant variation
from the switch design range Gira TX_44 is also available for outdoors, at the basement
stairs or garage.
Performance Features
The Standard automatic switch top unit can be used with diverse flush-mounted inserts
of the System 2000, to switch filament lamps, fluorescent lamps and halogen lamps
or with a Triac switch insert for switching HV and LV halogen lamps in case of wound
transformers. And if the top unit is installed in an HLK relay insert, it also switches
the heating or ventilation in addition to the lights.
The Comfort automatic switch top unit disposes of a digital signal evaluation
in order to improve the detection behavior and optimize the interference signal
suppression. And a teach-in function allows simple storing of the current illuminance
as the threshold value. The brightness switching threshold ( 0 - 80 Lux), the sensitivity
(100% - 20%), the set time (10 s - 30 min.) and a brightness-independent switching
for daytime operation can be set by means of potentiometers at the device. The Comfort
automatic switch top unit is available for the installation heights of 1.1 m and
2.2 m.
It can be used with the HLK relay insert of the System 2000 and thus control
the heating and ventilation in addition to the light
