Overview

The 6-Button UPB™ Controller is a high quality, aesthetically pleasing, versatile, pushbutton UPB™ transmitter packed full of features. It comes in two variations (Wall-Mount and Desk-Top) and many different colors. The 6-Button UPB™ Controller has six backlit horizontal pushbuttons as well as a vertical rocker pushbutton. The horizontal pushbuttons can be custom engraved (for a nominal charge) for ease of use and to add beauty and functionality to any room.

Performance Features

The 6-Button UPB™ Controller is designed to be an integral part of PCS's UPB™ Lighting Control System and it is also compatible with many other lighting control systems. The PCS UPB™ Lighting Control System allows the designer/installer to implement over 250 scenes per house as well as direct device control. When initial configuration is complete, a single push of a button is all you need to activate any group of lights (or control points) simultaneously. Each scene's pre-set lighting levels can be easily adjusted using PCS' innovative programming system (or by using a UPB™ Setup Tool).

Vertical rocker pushbutton can be configured to act as a Bright/Dim button for either a specified scene or the last scene activated. Each pushbutton event can be programmed to toggle between two different commands to help create versatile control capabilities including the famous Super Toggler.

Design Features

LEDs illuminate when On-type commands are both transmitted or received. LEDs extinguish when Off-type commands are both transmitted or received. LEDs can illuminate and cause all other LEDs to extinguish. Pushbuttons can be faintly lit to aid in finding the keypad in the dark. The lighted oval button design is worthy of high-end installations. Custom engraved labeling of horizontal pushbuttons is available for an extra charge.

Color-coded black (Hot) and white (Neutral) leads are provided for direct connection to a home's existing AC wires. The Wall-Mount Controller fits easily into a standard wall box. Transmits signals over existing power wiring so there is no need for expensive hard wiring. UPB based products are a fraction of the expense of hard wired and RF products. Using a UPB Setup Tool, allows the user to customize pushbutton transmissions, LED feedback, and many other features.
